An Anka-Ra Burial Site

The Anka-Ra Burial Sites are five Yokdan ruins in western Craglorn. They consist of a small, partially-enclosed area with a red beam of light coming from an altar in the center.

Speaking to the nearby Star-Gazer Priest activates a boss fight where players must repel several waves of enemies to keep them from reaching the center and killing the priest. Initially only Anka-Ra soldiers spawn, but after roughly three waves, two of the four nearby gargoyle statues come to life and start to slowly make their way towards the priest. The gargoyles do not fight back, but if they get close to the priest, they execute a powerful ground pound which is sure to kill them. After the two gargoyles are defeated, more Anka-Ra spawn in and then the remaining gargoyle statues also reanimate. Finally, the Guardian of Tarish-Zi spawns. Upon killing it, the event is successfully completed.

RewardEdit

Survive the event for a treasure chest that will appear near the altar. The chest has a chance to drop the Torc Throat Guards antiquity lead for the Torc of Tonal Constancy. Also, a "Consecrated Aura" near the altar can be activated to receive the Yokudan Might buff for 1 hour, which increases your damage done by 8% while in Craglorn.

AchievementsEdit

There is one achievement associated with these locations:

Achievement Points Description
Anka-Ra Consecrationist 15 Discover and complete all five Anka-Ra Sites in Craglorn.

NotesEdit

  • Since Update 12, they have been categorized as Group Bosses, with each one having a unique name. Before then, they were listed under Group Events, each as an "Anka-Ra Burial Site".
  • There is an interior crypt section at two of these locations, guarded by the unique Anka-Ra warriors Riza the Deathless and Tahmin of the Sideways Blade. It is possible to get into both crypts, and thus complete The Warrior's Call from the main Craglorn Zone Story, without actually engaging with the above-ground Group Event itself.
  • Prior to Update 12, these locations used  Estate map markers.
  • Enemies slain during these events don't grant experience or loot.
