I found a journal within the Mines of Khuras. It contained a message addressed to Odette Vinielle.
Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Go to Mines of Khuras and start the quest from Guifford Vinielle's Sketchbook.
- Exit the cave and talk to Odette Vinielle.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
To start this quest, go to Mines of Khuras, northeast of Aldcroft. Go to the left hand room read the book on the wood planks called Guifford Vinielle's Sketchbook. Examine it:
- "<This journal contains a variety of sketches, many of them annotated, showing Bloodthorn rituals and Red Rook bandits. There's also a folded message stuck between the cover and the first page of the book.>"
- <Read the message.>
- "'Odette,
If you're reading this, I hope I'm not dead. The Bloodthorn attacked the mines and caught me off guard. I'm working on an escape plan. Hopefully, I'll catch up with you soon. Stay safe at Glenumbra Moors. Your brother,
Guifford Vinielle'" - I should deliver this to Odette.
The quest will take you out of the cave and will show up a little southwest of Glenumbra Moors. Once you get to the area, talk to Odette Vinielle to conclude the quest.

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>
) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
