Oblivion talk:Renald Viernis
Schedule, corrections and observationsEdit
Just spied on this guy and the schedule itself seems to be precise - but there are a few specific details, that should be considered;
- I'm pretty sure, that it is NOT a Lightning Blast spell he practices between 6am and midday. Looks like a fire-based spell to me.
- He will stop casting the spell at some point. Maybe he casts is a specific number of times? If you exit and come back, he will start over again.
- He will switch between the target plates at 12pm.
- 12pm and 1pm is correct, but at 2pm he will just stand still (even when you do the exit trick). 3pm is correct.
- 4pm: I'm no magic expert - but THAT looks like the lightning blast he should have performed in the morning. He will also stop casting this spell at some point before 6pm.
- 6pm is correct. He is totally frozen. His sleeping times are correct as well.
My suggestion would be, that somebody (with a slightly better knowledge on magic than me) took a trip to the Training Center in-game. Just to check, if the types of magic are the correct ones. When that is cleared up, the schedule is ready to be "checked". Krusty 16:35, 3 May 2009 (EDT)
- I just checked through the CS and you're right on a few points:
- You're correct here, I got messed up with the times: he will simply cast a random target Destruction spell; I've personally seen him cast a Frost spell.
- Yes, there is a small bit of text that says: 'at least 100 value'. I think it means the power of the spell, whereas '100 count' is the number of times cast. That will need some more checking.
- That's correct, but maybe not important enough to be mentioned
- Strange, the two AIs are exactly the same, so he should be casting Mysticism
- Yes, it's the Apprentice level spell Shock, and he casts it 100 times (both are present in the schedule)
Alright, so most of the schedule is nailed. If we can get the one or two tiny bits that are still missing checked, it's good to go. --SerCenKing Talk 11:43, 5 May 2009 (EDT)
I see Eshe has removed the '100 times' bit from the main article. Have you found anything showing that it was incorrect? Is so, can you explain the '100 Count' bit? Thanks. --SerCenKing Talk 15:48, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
- I didn't find anything suggesting it wasn't true, I just thought it didn't really seem relevant. I suppose I don't have a problem with it being in the article if someone think it's worth noting. As far as I can tell, the "100 count" in the schedule means 100 times, but it's also a bit strange because it looks like he's casting a spell that he's not actually guaranteed to have ("StandardShockDamageTarget2Apprentice"). Still, I don't really think it needs to be mentioned in the article. If nothing else this will just help us learn to read the AI a bit better! –Eshetalk 16:10, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
