Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Damsel in DistressEdit
During the quest The Ballad of Jean and Mori, Alden the Wanderer will tell you that he saw a "nord girl named Helga" wash up on the shores of the island a few days ago. She attempted to seduce Dupineon who reported her to the guards and had her arrested for prostitution. Alden suggests that she might know more about the missing ship, the Kintyra II.
Soliciting InformationEdit
Helga Open-Legs can be found locked in a cell in Fort Stirk, Passage. If you promise to pay her fine, she will give you the information you need. When the Kintyra II was sinking, she saw two men being pulled onto a smaller boat crewed by Goblins but doesn't know what happened to them after that.
Her fine is 50 gold, and the money can be paid to the nearby jailor. Even if her cell door is unlocked, Helga remains stubbornly in her cell, so paying the fine is the only option.
Reformed Character?Edit
Once the fine is paid, Helga will leave prison. If you talk to her afterwards, she will tell you that she is going to try to find a job that's more acceptable to the locals — at least until she can earn the money to leave the island.
NotesEdit
- Since Helga gives you the information you need before you pay the fine, it is possible to keep your gold and leave her in jail. In this case, however, the quest never completes and remains in your journal.
- Helga simply made an unlucky choice in pursuing Dupineon. She will tell you that "I don't think he's interested in women, to be honest", and since he sleeps with Sevillus Stirk, she is probably right.

- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage Tr07q004HelgaFine stage
, wherestage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
