Red Lane Camp

Red Lane Camp is an unmarked campsite south of Kvatch containing bandits.

It is west of Dasek Moor, at the end of a short path off the Gold Road. The site consists of six small tents and a large tent with bedrolls, eight stools, a large unlit campfire with an empty cooking pot, a non-respawning copy of Brief History of the Empire, v 4, two sacks containing minor loot, two sacks containing food, and two barrels containing clutter. A few plants give a bit of color to the camp, including a bergamot plant, five milk thistle plants, and two red flax plants. During the main quest, an Oblivion Gate may open nearby to the southeast. On a clear day, the rooftops of Anvil, as well as the Strid River and the mountains of Valenwood beyond, may be seen to the west and south.

NotesEdit

  • Troll Candle Camp, where master trainer Alawen resides, is nearby to the southwest. Her hunting trips often cause her to climb the hillside toward Red Lane Camp, where she may be killed by the bandit inhabitants, making it impossible to complete the Marksman Training quest.
    •   The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 2.0.0, addresses this issue. Alawen is now marked as essential until she agrees to train you.
