Mortal Camp is a campsite southeast of Kvatch containing bandits.
It is northeast of Dasek Moor, on the Gold Road. The site consists of two tents with bedrolls, a stool, an unlit campfire with an empty cooking pot, a non-respawning bowl, a non-respawning stone mug, a non-respawning tan pitcher, four non-respawning bottles of beer, a sack containing minor loot, and a sack containing food. Although one or two bandits may reside here, due to the random creature near the road and the occasional patrolling Imperial Legion Soldier, the camp is often abandoned. A red flax plant and two nightshade plants can be found in the immediate vicinity, while an emetic russula plant, four fly amanita plants, three lady's smock plants, two more nightshade plants, a peony plant, two more red flax plants, and a yellow cinnabar polypore plant are in the wider area. On a clear day, a breathtaking view of the Strid River and the mountains of Valenwood can be seen to the south, while the ruined city of Kvatch with its burnt trees and destroyed towers is visible to the northwest.

- In The Infernal City, the ghost of a Colovian woman speaks of her hometown of Mortal, a settlement with many willows near a river. The town may take its name from Mortal Camp, which is also located in Colovia by a river.
