Zone 1: KemenEdit

Kemen

Upon entry, you face two possible routes for exploring this ruin: either continue down the balcony you begin on, or jump down into the chamber below. Either method will eventually lead to the boss chest in Kemen Varlasel, but jumping down will grant you access to additional treasure that cannot be accessed from elsewhere in the ruin.

If you jump down, be prepared to fight up to four enemies in the first room, where you will also find a minor loot chest. Ignore the passage to the east for now and instead open gate E via the nearby push block (cyan dot on map). Be careful as this also opens the hidden door at F, revealing an undead occupant as well as a minor loot chest. You will arrive in the lower level of the southernmost room, where you can expect to face up to three enemies. Pick up the Welkynd stone on the ground and use the nearby push block to activate the stone steps (G). The upper level hosts numerous skeletons and corpses resting on slabs in the walls, the lowest corpses being lootable. Placed near the corpses in the southeastern alcove are two static pieces of loot: a set of fifteen silver arrows and an Elven Long Sword Replica (pretty, but worthless). You can also find four more Welkynd stone either on their respective pedestals or on the floor nearby as well as two minor loot chests and up to five enemies.

When returning from the second zone via door C, you will arrive in long room with up to five enemies and two minor loot chests.

Occupants:

Treasure:

Doors and Gates:

  • There are three doors in/out of this zone
  • 1 Hidden Door at F
  • 1 Iron Gate (opened remotely) at E

Other:

  • 1 Stone Steps (rise to form steps when activated) at location G on map

Zone 2: Kemen VarlaselEdit

Kemen Varlasel

How you explore Kemen's Hall of Stars depends on where you entered. Entering from door C forces you to backtrack after looting the boss Ayleid coffer (B) in this zone. Entering from door D, meanwhile, leads you onto a small balcony in the room containing the boss chest. If you jump off the balcony into the room, however, you will have to use door C to exit the zone.

Hidden door G opens whenever you open gate H, releasing a zombie and granting access to a minor chest. The room containing the Varla Stones (easternmost room in zone) also contains four gas traps (F) surrounding the Varla Stones (V) as well as a minor loot chest. The chamber south of door C has three sets of falling blade traps (E) that can prove deadly. To avoid them simply drop down onto the lower level, dispatch the two enemies nearby, and then make your way to door C.

Occupants:

Treasure:

Traps:

  • 6 Falling Blade traps at locations E on map
  • 4 Gas traps at F, activated by raising the Varla Stone cages

Doors and Gates:

  • There are two doors (at C and D) in/out of this zone, both leading to the zone Kemen
  • 1 Hidden Door at G
  • 1 Iron Gate (opened remotely) at H
