The Bloodworm Helm is a leveled light helmet encountered during The Bloodworm Helm quest in the Mages Guild questline. It must be given up after the quest and cannot subsequently be retrieved in the original game. In Oblivion Remastered, the Bloodworm Helm and the Necromancer's Amulet can both be obtained from the Arch-Mage's Night Stand after Confront the King.[verification needed — Some are claiming the Necromancer's Amulet is appearing without any mods or unofficial patches. What is causing it to not appear sometimes?] The level 1-4 helm also allows you to cast the apprentice-level version of the Essence Drain spell when wearing the helm.

NotesEdit
- While the Bloodworm Helm doesn't have an issue, due to a bug, the Necromancer's Amulet may not appear at all in the Arch-Mage's Night Stand in Oblivion Remastered.
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch places both the Bloodworm Helm and the Necromancer's Amulet into the Arch-Mage's Night Stand.
- The Bloodworm Helm also appeared in Morrowind.

BugsEdit
- The level 5 or higher versions of the helm are supposed to also provide higher level Essence Drain spells when worn, but due to a glitch in the helm scripts you do not get any spell at all for all but the lowest-level one. Also, the Essence Drain spell would have stuck to you permanently in some circumstances, even after the helm is removed/dropped, if that second glitch wasn't also patched simultaneously.
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 1.7.0, fixes this bug.
