The Suran Slave Market is a slave market in Suran.
NotesEdit
- It is impossible to free any of the slaves by normal means, as there is no key to the cells or their shackles.
-
- You can still free the Argonian slaves by picking the cell door locks, and getting them to follow you with a Command Humanoid spell to some place for which there is a key. The cave of Saturan is the closest such location. Alternatively, pick the cell door locks, travel on your own to Saturan, enter Saturan, and then use the
PositionCell
console command to move each slave to you. Once you have the slave inside Saturan, the Saturan Slave Key will work to free them. - You cannot free the Altmer Yakov. You can take him to Saturan, and he will have the "go free" topic if the player is in possession of the Saturan Slave Key. In Morrowind, attempting to set him free will return only a number of error messages, due to him not possessing the necessary scripts to be freed. In OpenMW, when you attempt to set him free, there will not be any error messages. He will thank you for freeing him, but he will not actually be freed; he will still be wearing his slave bracer, and if you exit and re-enter Saturan, he will still be where you left him.
- Using the console to give yourself a copy of the Suran Slave Key (which is otherwise not found in the game) does not work; the key will appear in your inventory, but it will not unlock any of the slaves' bracers while they are in the Suran Slave Market.

- On the table next to Dranas Sarathram is a small chest containing 399 gold, although taking it is considered stealing. An easy way to get the gold is to enter from the top level, walk halfway down the stairs, and hide behind the curtain so that Dranas does not see you.
- On the table upstairs is a copy of the Speechcraft skill book Biography of the Wolf Queen.
