* After the Heart of Lorkhan is destroyed, his Health is reduced to 300. Otherwise, it is constantly reset to 1000 every frame. Additionally, he has an unlimited pool of Magicka. When the Heart is destroyed, his Magicka will be set to 0, leaving him unable to cast spells (though not defenseless, as his melee attacks are still quite strong.)
** Dagoths Ur's resists change each time the Heart is hit. Before the first hit with Sunder, he has 50% Resist Fire. After Sunder hits, he will have 50% Resist Frost instead. After the first hit from Keening, he will switch to 50% Resist Shock. After the second hit, that will be replaced with a 50 pt Shield spell. After the third hit with Keening, all resists and spells will be removed.
BugsEdit
- Killing an Ash Vampire during The Citadels of the Sixth House quest should weaken Dagoth Ur in the following way:
- However, scripts cannot affect actors that have not loaded yet, so Dagoth Ur will be weakened only if you visit him before killing an Ash Vampire during The Citadels of the Sixth House quest.
- OpenMW fixes this bug. However, that makes it possible to reduce Dagoth Ur's 300 health to zero by killing only six Ash Vampires. To prevent such an outcome, OpenMW also added a hardcoded exception. Thus, killing an Ash Vampire during The Citadels of the Sixth House quest will no longer affect Dagoth Ur in any way.
Heart of LorkhanEdit

* The Heart's Health starts at 1000, and is reset to 5000 every frame, thus cannot be killed under normal circumstances. In order to kill it without using Sunder and Keening, you would need to find a way to do over 5000 damage to it in a single hit - not possible without using the TES Construction Set (create a massive damage spell), using the alchemy glitch to fortify your strength or the Bloodmoon expansion (Ebony Arrows of Slaying). This would, however, break the main quest.
