Hlaalo Manor is the residence of Ralen Hlaalo and his loyal live-in servant, Uryne Nirith. Located in the northwest corner of Balmora, Hlaalo manor is a three-story manor adorned in wealthy fashion. It is the site of a recent murder, the corpse of Ralen Hlaalo is found on the first floor. His servant, Uryne Nirith, is in her bedroom on the second floor.
There are two doors into Hlaalo Manor. The front door has a level 35 lock, and the balcony door has a level 40 lock. Members of House Hlaalu may recieve a key from Nileno Dorvayn to investigate the murder. The first floor of the Hlaalo Manor is an large dining room divided by screens. Shelves of tableware and bottles line the right wall, and a valuable bottle of Vintage Brandy can be found on the top shelf. Behind another set of screens is a storage area containing mostly alchemical ingredients. Ralen's body can be found by the stairs, with no apparent signs of struggle. A small locked (65) chest is hidden behind a tapestry in the stairwell up to the second floor. The second floor has a door out to the balcony, and a door to the servants room. Uryne Nirith keeps a copy of the skill book 36 Lessons of Vivec, Sermon 22 on her shelf.
The third floor appears to be Ralen Hlaalo's bedroom, and it is in disarray. A valuable small key can be found sticking out of a knocked over vase. It opens nothing.

- Hlaalo Manor is arguably one of the most popular home bases in which to store your excess inventory gear. Aside from the many shelves, tables, and generous floor space, it also provides the unique convenience of Ralen Hlaalo's corpse, which will never vanish and can be used as a container with unlimited storage space.
- It is also situated very near the Balmora Morag Tong Guild building, which contains yet another permanent corpse of Methas Hlaalu. The relatively easy access to two permanent corpses is ideal for any player that likes to organize or segregate their loot.
- Up the first set of stairs before the landing is a decorative tapestry to the left, behind which is a hidden small chest with some gold.
