Thorheim Guard during the Imperial Simulacrum

Tor-Hame-Khard (meaning "Warlord's Mountain Lair" in High Elvish)[1] is a ruined estate located beyond the city-state of Shimmerene, within the province of the Summerset Isles. The site later lent its name to the town of Thorheim Guard, a butchered Tamrielic version of the original name.[2][3]

HistoryEdit

Tor-Hame-Khard was originally an estate that belonged to the Prime Battlereeve Fiirfarya in the early First Era. But on one fateful morning, the entire populace was found slaughtered, which resulted in the settlement's abandonment.[1] Since then the site was inhabited by various dangerous parties.[4]

During the Interregnum around 2E 582, the ruins of Tor-Hame-Khard were used as the base of the Sagacians, a rogue group of scholars that were paid to acquire an Abyssal Pearl, playing on a Justiciar's love and concern for her skooma-addicted sister. While the Pearl was bound for the College of Sapiarchs, Justiciar Avanaire had stolen it, stowing it away deep within Tor-Hame-Khard. The Divine Prosecution was sent to recover the artifact but were swiftly defeated by the Sagacians. Their plot was foiled when the Vestige was able to defeat Avanaire before Yaghra and other dangerous creatures summoned by the pearl could spread from the ruins.[5][6][7] The Divine Prosecution also sent deputized newcomers to the ruins to recover stolen relics from the Sagacians and to obtain information on the group's plans.[8]

Family shrine of the line of Nivulirel was located inside Tor-Hame-Khard.[9][10]

Sometime later during the Imperial Simulacrum in the late Third Era, the village of Thorheim Guard was thriving, under the rule of Lady Zenosha. It had a rivalry with Silver Wood.[2]
