Mahogany is a variety of tree that can be found around Tamriel and is commonly used as material for a variety of objects such as furnishings and gear. Variants of this tree include the Mountain Mahogany and Wrothgarian Mahogany.[1]
Mammoth EarEdit
Mammoth Ears are a broadleaf tropical plant found in temperate climates. Crushing a mammoth ear leaf and dabbing a few drops of the juice on a person's lips will act as a purgative and will bring up the contents of the stomach.[2]
Mana BloomEdit
Mana Blooms are rare flowering plants found almost exclusively on the plane of Gaiar Alata, but some mages were also captable of growing the plants. There are two varieties of Mana Bloom: blue and purple. Blue Mana Blooms are used for harvesting Lichor while purple Mana Blooms give Ambrosia.
MandrakeEdit
Mandrakes are small flowering shrubs found in the Colovian Highlands and near the city of Bravil.
MangroveEdit
The coasts of Valenwood are dominated by mangrove swamps and tropical rain forest.[3] Mangroves can be found on islands including Khenarthi's Roost and Summerset. Mangrove trees thrive in Black Marsh, particularly along the shores of the Oliis Bay, where they form a nigh-impenetrable wall. The Oliis mangroves stand in the water, like thousands of giant spiders with their legs interlocked. An Argonian folktale claims that's exactly what this wall of mangroves along the Oliis Bay once was. According to the story, the giant spiders earned the Hist's wrath in an ancient conflict and were transformed into trees.[4]:52

The Maple is a variety of tree that can be found around Tamriel. It is sometimes used to fashion gear such as bows, staves and shields. Varieties of the maple tree include the Craglorn Maple[5]

MarshmerrowEdit
Marshmerrow is a common type of cane that grows abundantly anywhere there's water in Morrowind, harvested for its sweet pulp. It has modest magical properties when eaten fresh or prepared,[6] and is among the most common and cheap alchemy ingredients in the province. It is a very important crop in the Ascadian Isles of Vvardenfell, but it grows in the wild in other similar regions, such as Azura's Coast and the Grazelands.[7] While it has no effect on the breeding habits of the Kwama, it can make for a good feed.[8] Marshmerrow cakes are sweet treats which can be dusted with powdered pearl and sugar.[9] The Marshmerrow shares its name with the Dunmeri martial art practiced by the Dissident Priests.[10]
Martyrs' CopperleafEdit
The Martyr's Copperleaf is a flowering plant with yellow leaves and orange flowers which have a scent that is reminiscent of hibiscus.[11] It can be found growing within False Martyrs' Folly in the Deadlands.[12]
Meadow RyeEdit
Meadow Rye is a green and white reed found growing in the city of Mournhold.
Midnight CapEdit
Midnight cap are mushrooms with a blue bioluminescence that grow in the Spiral Skein, Mephala's realm.
Midnight GloryEdit
Midnight Glories are a flowering vine plant with pale blue flowers. They are often found in gardens devoted to the goddess Dibella.[13]
Midnight SageEdit
Midnight Sage is a flowering plant which has several purple flowers along its stalk. They are often found in gardens devoted to the goddess Dibella.[13]
MilkcapEdit
Milk ThistleEdit
Milk Thistle is a plant with magenta flowers, found mainly in mountainous regions and along the Gold Coast.
Mimic HistEdit
This tree is so named due to its close resemblance to a Hist but does not share the latter's unique abilities.
MonkshoodEdit
Monkshood is a common flower found in Cyrodiil's Heartland and in the Nibenay Basin.
Moon Sugar CaneEdit
Moon sugar cane is a sturdy cane that smells sweet when bruised. It is the source of the titular product, Moon Sugar, and can be found growing on plantations and farms in throughout Elsweyr.
Moonflower BlossomsEdit
Moonflower Blossoms are a spicy smelling flower that grows in Orc's Finger Ruins. They are allegedly not poisonous.
Mora TapinellaEdit
Mora Tapinella is a beige colored shelf fungus native to Skyrim, commonly found on rotting logs.
Morning GloryEdit
Morning Glory is a domesticated vine that flowers with a blue head. It can be found in the wilderness of the West Weald and Heartland regions.
MotherwortEdit
Motherwort is a versatile plant found across Cyrodiil, excluding the Blackwood region and the Gold Coast.
Moth NettleEdit
Moth Nettle is a type of herb found in northwestern Tamriel. It can be used in potions to cure illnesses.
Mountain FlowerEdit
Mountain flowers are bushy flowering plants with four color varieties: Red, Blue, Purple and Yellow.
Mountain TailEdit
Mountain Tails are bushy red flowering herbs that can be found high in the icy mountains on the Hammerfell and Skyrim border.
MuckspungeEdit
Muckspunge (or Muck Sponge) is a common plant growing in the West Gash region and along Azura's Coast, often farmed by the native Dunmer of Vvardenfell for its mildly toxic slime secreted when crushed.

Mushroom Trees are a species of giant mushroom native to Shivering Isles. They are theorized to be a part of the Root, a complex living organism, although they can live outside the realm. See also: Emperor Parasol
Mushroom Tree SaplingEdit
Mushroom Tree saplings are found across the Shivering Isles. Greenmote, an extremely potent drug, is extracted from the saplings of the Mania region. The Dementia sapling produces the equally dangerous Black Tar, a toxin in both solid and liquid form that is collected from the tree itself or from the strings of tar that hang from its limbs.
