Lake Nabia is a body of water located in south-central Vvardenfell, in the province of Morrowind. It is the only body of water in the desolate wastes of Molag Amur, and traces of lava are beyond the hills around it. The lake shares its name with the river it drains into the southeast. On the lake's southern shore is an ancient Chimeri stronghold called Marandus, and on its southeast shore next to the Nabia estuary is the Vandas Ancestral Tomb. There is also a cave on its northwest shore called Punabi.[1]

At some point in time, Ondre Veloth, the Master Archer of Molag Amur defended the pass near Lake Nabia for nine days from the Sload, and with a bow given to them by Almalexia, the Lady of Mercy. He died at the enemy's hands but was later honored for his actions in his family's ancestral tomb.[2]

In the mid-Interregnum in the Second Era, construction on the nearby city of Vivec was underway, and the workers needed a steady supply of stone. The main source of granite was a quarry built on the previous inactive Foyada Mamaea, until lava from Red Mountain began to flow through it.[3] The operation was led by the two foremen, Mevel and Telleno and in order to transport the stone faster, a wooden rail was created from the quarry's entrance to a dock on Lake Nabia and from there, it was transported through the Nabia River and eventually Vivec City.[4]
