The High Savannah is an area of arid savannah and dry grassland that stretches along the northwest corner of northern Elsweyr.[1] Its largest settlement is the city of Riverhold.[2] There are twisted trees found around the region,[3] and stiff savannah breezes blow through The Rim from the savannah.[4]
It is home to a variety of fauna, particularly felines[5] domesticated by the native Khajiit such as the Midnight Fennec Fox[6] and Pride-King Lion, the latter of which are the top predators of the area.[7] "Savannah Grassware" consisting of light but sturdy woven bowls are fashioned out of the native plants.[8]
Pelinal Whitestrake spilled the blood of many Khajiit when traveling south from Cyrodiil.[9] The Baandari traditionally set up camp in the region and dance in the grass.[10]
