Chaseguard (also called Chasegard)[1] is a town found in southern Hammerfell, on the eastern shores of Hew's Bay between the city-state of Taneth and Rihad.
The town has been in existence since at least the Tiber War, around 2E 862.[1] During the Imperial Simulacrum in the late-Third Era, the village of Chaseguard was an active settlement. It was ruled by Lord Shraj and had a rivalry with Cartmont. Taverns in the village included the Black Sailor's, Devil's Saber, Dirty Mug, Rusty Ship, and Unfortunate Crow's Nest inns.[2] Chaseguard is neighbored by several settlements, including Rihad to the southeast, Roseguard to the north, and Stonemoor to the east.[3]
