Andrew Young was a Senior Content Designer at ZeniMax Online Studios for the The Elder Scrolls Online throughout the 2010s and 2020s.
Young joined the ESO team at ZeniMax Online Studios on July 7th, 2012 as a content designer contributing quest design to launch zones such as Stros M'Kai, Grahtwood, Greenshade, and the Rift. He continued to write and design quest content and lorebooks on all post-launch zones, with major contributions to Morrowind, Summerset, Clockwork City and Murkmire. He was promoted to Senior Content Designer in October of 2017 after his work on Clockwork City, which included working with Leamon Tuttle to create ESO's characterization of Sotha Sil. In November of 2019 he was promoted to Zone Lead and led the development of the Markarth DLC during the COVID pandemic. After the launch of Markarth, he willingly stepped down for unknown reasons and resumed his duties as a Senior Content Designer on all subsequent releases. He remained at Zenimax Online Studios contributing to future content and lore, before leaving the company by August 2024.[1] Some of his final work was writing for the character of Zerith-var.[2] Young has a tattoo of Talos on his arm.[3]
