Sarah Beluel

Sarah Beluel is a Breton publican who lives in the Converted Checkpoint Apartments. She runs a stall where she sells her famous sweet brewed tea. Her stall is located in the northern half of the Waterfront Tunnel, on the west side of the lower level; it has a large poster of two horsemen grappling in combat on the back wall and several small tables where patrons can sit and drink their tea.

She wakes up at 6am every morning. On weekdays, she has a chance of going to the Waterfront District to spy on Damian Magius (she has a crush on him, though she won't admit it to anyone). If she does, she'll spend three hours there before going to the Waterfront Tunnel to open her stall for the day (if she doesn't, she'll stay home until 9am instead). She closes up her stall at 8pm and goes to The Feed Bag for dinner. She remains there until midnight, then returns home and goes to bed. On weekends, she lounges around her apartment for a couple of hours, then spends the day visiting the go to the Public Bathing House. She goes to The King and Queen Tavern at 6pm for a leisurely four-hour dinner, then returns home to relax for a couple of hours before bed.

Sarah wears a green brocade doublet, green silk skirt, and green velvet shoes; she carries a large amount of gold, two pitchers of sheep's milk, and a key to her apartment.

She has an apartment all to herself. It's small, but she has a bed, armoire, bookcase, and a crate that doubles as a table.

If you wander into Sarah's stall, she'll welcome you with a smile: "Hello, and welcome to my little cafe down here in the Tunnel! Find a seat, and I'll get you a nice hot cup of my sweet tea!" If you ask if she makes it herself, she says: "I most certainly do! I have the tea leaves shipped in from the Summerset Isles, and I brew it here, right in the cafe, using fresh spring water. Now, if you'd like, you can drink your tea plain, or you can have it with some fresh sheep's milk, or some light cream I whipped up just this morning." If you catch Sarah when she's admiring Damian from afar, she'll act surprised: "Huh? Oh, no, it's nothing like that! Damian and I are just friends, really!"
