Pedra is an Imperial merchant who helps her husband Dodrick run Shipyard Supplies, a store in the Bravil Docks.
Pedra gets up at 7am every morning and eats breakfast with her husband for two hours. When he goes down to open the shop, she remains upstairs for the morning, taking care of minor tasks; she comes down at 1pm to take over for him while he wanders around. They close up at 6pm and go upstairs to eat dinner together for three hours, then she cleans up for two hours before retiring to bed.
She wears a red sailor's shirt, coarse linens, and clogs; she carries some dried fish and corn, along with a key to the shop.
Bravil Shipyard Supplies occupies a three-story building at the far western end of the docks; the ground floor is the shop, and Pedra and Dodrick live on the second floor. Their living quarters are divided into a living room/dining room with a big table and well-stocked pantry, and a large bedroom. The third floor is strictly for storage and sees little use.
Pedra thinks little of her husband, and isn't afraid to let her feelings be known: "I tell yeh, teh things I put up with fer that pig of a husband!" If you inquire further, she says, "Ah do all teh cookin' and the cleanin', do the washin' and scrub the floors, an' do I hear a single word o' thanks? O' course I don't! That terrible excuse fer a man wouldn't last three days without me! Makes me wonder why I don't just get up an' leave one o' these days..."
